Scout Alley Studio, located in beautiful Charleston, SC, is a professional, boutique recording studio. Producer Chris Dodson offers an intimate setting for professional artists, musicians, authors, podcast hosts, and hobbyists seeking to create their masterpieces.
Chris has hand-picked the top-tier production equipment and instruments to deliver the best quality of sound. He prides himself in taking the extra effort to tailor-fit his clients’ needs for a project. Each client is given personalized experience that includes instrument tracking, songwriting assistance, mixing and mastering.
Chris Dodson is an award winning songwriter and producer from Charleston, SC. Since 2021, he has been mentored by Sync Licensing giant, Adam McInnis, artist Lauren Dyson, Grammy Award winning producers, David “DQ” Quinones, Brian Forbes, and songwriting coaches Suzan Koc and Susan Calloway. These mentors are part of a premium music industry network called The Billboard 500 Club where he has trained and collaborated with numerous award winning professional performers. In 2024, Chris completed an intensive mentorship program called Break Thru in which he completed 55 songs from start to finish. He resides near his home studio with his wife, stepson, and three dogs, collaborating locally and internationally.
